The chaps are double-stitched, with felled seams and heavy-duty snaps and bartacking throughout. Made from Filson's oil finish cotton duck (Tin cloth), these chaps are breathable and hence cooler than nylon chaps. There are two adjustable side straps, to be placed one on each side of a belt loop for a no-twist, snug fit. The Double Tin Chaps add a double layer of fabric at the bottom, an expandable pleat to slip over boots, and rugged twill binding at the cuff to prevent fraying. Do not wash or dry-clean. Made in USA. If your normal pant inseam is 29 - 31, then order size Regular. If your normal pant inseam is 32 - 34, then order size Long. Low-tension snaps provide less resistance when you're trying to open them, so they are less likely to tear out under stress when they're clogged up with mud.
